Here is the latest on the Midwest Journalism Conference:

The 2012 Midwest Journalism Conference gets under way on Friday morning at the Crowne Plaza Mall of America Hotel in Bloomington. The weather looks great for the weekend and we’re expecting a great turnout for two days of sessions, awards events, tape critiques and networking opportunities with journalists from across the Upper Midwest.

Please pass the message along to your newsrooms and any professional associations to which you belong. Let people know about the quality journalism training they can find each and every year at the conference. And be sure to tell them how much fun it is to get together with friends.

We have a great slate of training sessions along with many other events for two full days, Friday and Saturday, March 30-31. You can find the full conference schedule, biographies of our featured speakers, information about the hotel, online registration and much more our new website, midwestjournalism.com. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

We also post updates on our Facebook page and will be tweeting through the end of the conference this weekend. Are you following us?

See you on Friday and Saturday!
