Here is the latest on the Midwest Journalism Conference:

After a very full day on Friday, day two of the Midwest Journalism Conference gets under way Saturday at 8:30am with a general session on online research.

At 11:30, the RTDNA luncheon features new RTDNA Executive Director Mike Cavender who will be speaking about the the organization and its programs.

Lunch will be followed by breakout sessions and individual resume tape critiques in the afternoon.

Finally, the conference winds up with the NBNA’ Eric Sevareid Awards banquet at 7pm.

We’ve seen some very nice tweets tagged with #mjc12 talking about the great sessions this weekend.

Here is the latest on the Midwest Journalism Conference:

The 2012 Midwest Journalism Conference gets under way on Friday morning at the Crowne Plaza Mall of America Hotel in Bloomington. The weather looks great for the weekend and we’re expecting a great turnout for two days of sessions, awards events, tape critiques and networking opportunities with journalists from across the Upper Midwest.

Please pass the message along to your newsrooms and any professional associations to which you belong. Let people know about the quality journalism training they can find each and every year at the conference. And be sure to tell them how much fun it is to get together with friends.

We have a great slate of training sessions along with many other events for two full days, Friday and Saturday, March 30-31.
